Contest Regulation (Monthly Prize Dec18)

1. Participants

1.1. Chefchart’s “Monthly Prize Apr19” Contest ("Contest") is aimed at all of Chefchart’s Registered Users (“Chefs”), in accordance with the respective General Conditions (available at: https://chefchart.com/terms ).
1.2. The Contest consists of two distinct campaigns:
i. The campaign aimed at Chefs registered as Pro Chefs; and
ii. The campaign aimed at the Chefs registered as Home chefs.

2. Contest Period

The contest will take place between the first and the last day of April 2019 (the “Contest Period").

3. Description, how to participate and Contest prizes

3.1. This Contest aims to award the Chefs who get the biggest number of shares in Cookbooks with a single recipe, and it is necessary that a photo or video of the Chef with the final dish is also shared along with the recipe.
3.2. Each chef may publish more than one recipe, but only the shares of the most shared recipe on Cookbooks will count, and the shares of the various recipes shared by the same Chef will not be summed.
3.3 The Contest has as goal and prize:
i. In the case of the Pro Chefs Campaign, the prize will be a SMEG Stand Mixer.
ii. In the case of the Home Chefs Campaign, the prize will be a SMEG Stand Mixer.
3.4 The award of the prizes referred to in clause 4.3. will be carried out by Chefchart to the respective Chefs who, in compliance with all the requirements of this Regulation, each one in their category, have the most shares in the Chefchart cookbooks (“On Cookbooks”), of a recipe published during the month of the Contest.
3.5. The award of the prize is subjected to proper compliance with this Regulation and a minimum total of 50 (fifty) new recipes shared in the month of the promotion by at least 50 (Fifty) Chefs from each category (ProChef and HomeChef).
3.6 The right to the prizes is personal and non-transferable between chefs or to third parties, and it cannot be exchanged for money.

4. Winners

4.1 The winning chefs will be announced by Chefchart within 1 day after the Contest Period.
4.2 The winning chefs of the Contest will also be contacted within 1 day after the end of the Contest Period, through the respective contacts provided by them. In this contact, it will be given all the information considered relevant and related to the award of the Prize.
4.3. The winning Chef must, within 30 days of the aforementioned contact, provide all the data, information and documents requested for the processing and delivery of the Prize. If the winning Chef does not provide, in the aforementioned period, the data, information and documents requested, he will lose the winning position and forfeit his right to the prize, without the right to any compensation.
4.4. The inability to avail of the prize, its non-acceptance or its non-claim under the conditions above does not confer the Chef any claim or compensation from Chefchart.

5. Final provisions

5.1. The terms and conditions of this Regulation apply to all the Chefs encompassed by the Contest and aim to protect all aspects of the relationship of the participating Chef with Chefchart in the scope of the Contest.
5.2. If for any reason it is not possible to guarantee the delivery of any prize, Chefchart may replace it with another prize, and the participating chefs are not entitled to any compensation.
5.3. Chefchart is not liable for any of the following: 
(i) any difficulties or impossibility of contact with the winners or of these with Chefchart; 
(ii) the inaccuracy of any data submitted by the participating Chefs; 
(iii) the winning Chefs not picking up the prize; 
(iv) any acts performed by the participating Chefs and their respective companions, either in the participation or in the attainment of the prize or any act in bad faith, such as participating in the Contest using false information, thus defrauding it, in which case, if identified, will be automatically excluded, without prejudice by activation of other legal mechanisms; and/or 
(v) damages to the property or other assets, incidents or accidents that the participating Customers and respective companions may suffer from the reception or attainment of the Prize to be awarded in the scope of the Contest.
5.4. Chefchart is the entity and the recipient responsible for the treatment of the personal data of the Chefs and of the persons authorised to avail themselves of the prize under the terms of this Regulation.
5.5 By participating in this Contest, the Chef gives his free, informed and express consent for the personal data transmitted by him to be subjected to treatment under the conditions and for the purposes indicated in this Regulation. 5.6. The titleholder of the data may, in accordance with the applicable law, request the access, rectification or deletion of his data, and may also request the limitation of the treatment of the data or oppose to it. To this end, you must contact Chefchart via e-mail [email protected].
5.7. Chefchart reserves the right to terminate, alter, shorten, delay or prolong the Contest at all times, without the Chef being entitled to any kind of compensation. In the event of any changes, these enter into effect on the date indicated by Chefchart, or, in the absence of indication, immediately after the communication of the modified terms and conditions.
5.8. The participation in the present Contest and the availment of the Prize imply the knowledge and acceptance of the terms of its Regulation.
5.9 In the event of situations that are not mentioned in this Regulation or in case there is any doubt in interpreting this Regulation, the decision taken by Chefchart prevails.
